Why Am I Not Receiving Notifications?

  1. Open App Settings
  2. Go to "Notifications & Sound"
  3. Scroll to the bottom, find and click "Notification Diagnosis"
  4. The system will send a test notification to help you confirm if notifications are working properly

Common Causes and Solutions

1. System Notification Permission Not Enabled

  • Issue: App hasn't been granted system notification permission
  • Solution:
    • iOS: Settings > Notifications > [App Name] > Allow Notifications
    • Android: Settings > App Management > [App Name] > Notifications > Allow Notifications

2. Chat Settings Issues

  • Issue: Specific chats are muted or in notification exception list
  • Solution:
    • Check notification options in chat settings
    • Confirm the chat isn't set to "Mute" or "Never Notify"
    • Check exception list in notification settings

3. Android-Specific Issues

  • Issue: Google Services Framework related problems
  • Solution:
    1. Ensure Google Services Framework is installed
    2. Check if network can access Google services normally
    3. If Google services unavailable:
      • Allow
