Which Data is End-to-End Encrypted on the Server?

Chat Content Encryption​

All private communication content is protected by end-to-end encryption:

  • One-on-one private chat messages
  • Encrypted group chat messages
  • Anonymous encrypted group chat messages
  • Messages in encrypted topic groups

This means that only you and the chat participants can decrypt and view these message contents. The server or other third parties cannot access this encrypted data.

Personal Data Encryption​

The following personal data is end-to-end encrypted when syncing between your devices, ensuring that only you can access it:

  • Reminders
  • Personal notes (including note titles)
  • Cloud storage files (including file names and paths)
  • Chat group names
  • Custom names set for users and groups
