What Do the Check Marks Mean in Messages?

In the message interface, each message displays a status mark (check mark) in the bottom right corner to indicate its delivery status. Here's what they mean:

• Gray single check (✓): Message has been successfully transmitted to and stored on the server
• Colored single check (✓): Recipient's device has received the message notification (private chats only)
• Colored double check (✓✓): Recipient has opened and read the message
