What is Paper Key and How to Use It?

"Paper Key" is a private key generated from a mnemonic phrase that can be used to recover your encrypted chat data.

You can create a Paper Key in Settings - Devices.

When logging into a new device, choose [Paper Key] as the login method. After entering your phone number or email and completing one-time password verification, enter your Paper Key to log in without losing any encrypted data.

Tip

[Paper Key] is for one-time use only. After using it, you'll need to create a new Paper Key.
